About ONWARD
Project Basho is pleased to announce ONWARD, an annual juried photography exhibition exclusively featuring the work of new and emerging photographers with unique vision and talent. Each year the selection for the exhibition will be judged by a notable photographer or another professional in the field.
The theme for ONWARD is open, and any photographic medium from historical processes, traditional silver prints, chromogenic prints to digital prints can be submitted for consideration. Selected photographers’ work will be featured in a group exhibition at Project Basho Gallery. Further recognition will be awarded in the form of cash awards and/or opportunities for either a solo or two-person show at Project Basho Gallery.
This year’s group exhibition will culminate with an opening reception in January ’08. An online version of ONWARD will be also presented on Project Basho’s website showcasing selected photographers’ work with features like a conversation with the juror via podcast.
